2008 Grand Casino Points Championship

 

All Semi Pro & Pro Oval drivers who raced in Frederic will be included in this Championship providing you race at Grantsburg.  The total points for both races will be added and the top Semi Pro driver will receive $500.00 and the top Pro driver will receive $1000.00.  All prize money to be handed out on Sunday evening at the Awards dinner in Grantsburg.

If you use Pro Stock points from the Frederic Race you must the same class of points at Grantsburg you cannot combine the points from two classes - we will take the best of your class scores to determine the winners

         Each driver gets points for position at finish of race or 20 at minimum.     After this initial point value, the driver also receives points for heats raced during weekend  for up to 3 heat races on Saturday and quarterfinals and semifinals on Sunday.  An “S” for any heat race gives 0 points for that heat.  For example:  1^st place in Pro Open gets 200 points + 3 heat races (up to 12 points in a 4 man heat race) + quarterfinals and semifinals (up to 8 points in a 4 man heat race) for a total of 220.
